We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to quote for cleaning your premises and to contact you about it. Through the quote form on this site that is: your first name, your last name, your phone number, your email address, the service you selected, the time of day you asked us to call, and — where you choose to provide them — the address of the premises and any message you write.

The address and message fields are optional and the form works without them. We do not ask for, and you should never send us, financial details, identity documents or health information through this website.

Why we collect it

To call or email you back, to arrange a walkthrough of the premises in Auburn or wherever the site is, to prepare a written quote, and to manage the cleaning work if you accept it. That is the whole purpose. We do not use your details to build a marketing profile, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Who it goes to

Submissions from the quote form are transmitted to a contact-form service operated on our behalf, which delivers them as an email to our team. The service processes the submission solely to deliver it to us.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not rent it, and we do not trade it. We disclose it to a third party only where you have asked us to, or where we are required to by law.

Spam protection

The quote form contains a hidden field that is invisible to people and is not part of the tab order. It exists to catch automated submissions. If it is filled in, the submission is discarded. A human visitor will never interact with it and no information about you is collected through it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and are then deleted. Records relating to work we actually carried out are retained for as long as Australian business and tax record-keeping obligations require, and then destroyed or de-identified.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run cross-site tracking. If analytics are added in future to understand which pages people actually read, this policy will be updated to say so before they go live rather than after.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need them in order to quote and schedule the work. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we do not store more than we need, which is the most effective protection there is.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au or call 1300 494 983 and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally well inside 30 days. There is no charge for asking.

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first on 1300 494 983 or hello@cleanbestgroup.com.au and we will try to resolve it directly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy
